The PTSA is an invaluable part of the MHS team that provides support to our students, staff and parents through scholarships, school beautification projects, assistance to needy students, staff appreciation events, coordination of volunteers, sponsorship of Frederick County's only baccalaureate program and so much more.  MHS parents, students and staff are highly encouraged to be a part of this dynamic organization.

The May 16th PTSA Meeting has been cancelled.  The next meeting is TBD.

The PTSA slate for the PTSA Officers for 2018-2019 are below:

Middletown High School is one of the only schools left in Frederick County that offers the popular Baccalaureate for its graduating seniors, but it takes dedicated support from the parents and senior students to make it happen. Without volunteers stepping forward immediately, we are in danger of not being able to host this program for the 2018 graduating class!
Planning should be well underway by this time of year.  Support is needed to plan the program, identify speakers, arrange talent performances, plan and staff for refreshments, and to develop the popular 'baby picture' slide show presentation that is always a highlight of the program.
If you can volunteer to be part of the Baccalaureate planning committee, please contact our MHS PTSA President, Shylonda Minter at as soon as possible.
Your support for our 2018 graduating class is appreciated in advance.
